What truly unique gift can you give to someone, to celebrate their 50th birthday?
My friend Claire had a special birthday recently and the only way I could think of to make her a gift that was truly unique, was to give her a personalised selection of our castile soaps.
Fortunately, I'm able to do that because we overprint our labels with a thermal printer, so instead of printing the soap variety, I was able to truly personalise the labels for Claire.
Not so fortunately, the gift was incredibly late due to a cascading series of computer problems.
Two weeks before Claire's birthday my computer died. Unbelievably, it took four weeks from beginning to end, to have a new one delivered and working in my office. Add a few more weeks to get printer/computer/software/printer drivers sorted out perfectly.
Many hours later, we discovered that the printer toggle key which is required to make the printer software work, doesn't like one of the USB ports on the new computer. Go figure!
