For a long time I've been wanting to have my own personalised labels to sew into gifts I've knitted for other people. They add a really nice touch if you're knitting or handcrafting a gift for someone.
At the end of last year I stopped procrastinating and searched seriously to the point where I actually ordered some!
Woven Labels Direct not only had exactly what I wanted - when I placed my order online, a representative phoned me to clarify that my order was correct.
Apparently the 23mm label height could accommodate 3 lines of text and not just the two I'd specified so the man I spoke to advised me that I could make my name a double line height.
I checked about lead times because I knew I was cutting it fine for delivery before the Christmas break.
The nice person I spoke to advised me that delivery would not be likely until the end of January.
Imagine my surprise when they arrived just before new year! I was a little confused because the packet itself was postmarked from the UK so I'm assuming the Sydney based website acts as an Australian agent while the manufacturing is done and dispatched direct from the UK.
If you're in the market for personalised woven labels, this company has my highest recommendation.
